It has now been one year since ABC made the shocking decision to cancel actor and comedian Tim Allen’s hit show, “Last Man Standing,” despite the sitcom’s impressive ratings. Allen has been laying low since then, but he just struck back at ABC’s liberal network execs with what is quite possibly the best revenge ever… You’re going to love this!

It’s no secret that proudly proclaiming your support for conservative values or Republican politicians can cost you your career in Hollywood. However, what ABC did in the wake of actor Tim Allen’s support for President Donald Trump going viral was quite shocking.

Allen, who describes himself as a fiscal conservative, infamously spoke out against Hollywood liberals who are notorious for bullying Trump supporters. And, unfortunately, he did not walk away unscathed after taking that stance.

ABC confirmed in May 2017 that “Last Man Standing,” which stars Allen as the politically conservative and Christian character Mike Baxter, was being canceled despite showing strong ratings.

Variety reported at the time, “Last Man Standing was ahead of the curve in the cultural sense as Allen played a conservative-minded patriarch who runs a sporting goods store and opines about the modern world, including political topics such as Obamacare and environmental policy.”

It was considered the perfect sitcom for the Trump era, hitting ratings highs in its sixth season. But that didn’t save Last Man Standing from a cancellation today.

ABC has opted not to renew the longtime Friday 8 PM anchor for Season 7 despite the fact that the blue-collar sitcom was ABC’s second most watched comedy this season with 8.1 million viewers in Live +7, only behind flagship Modern Family (8.7 million). It was the third most watched ABC scripted series overall behind Grey’s Anatomy and Modern Family. [Source: Deadline]

Appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live last year, Allen seemed to foreshadow his own demise, saying, “I’m not kidding. You gotta be real careful around here. You get beat up if you don’t believe what everybody believes.” He continued. “This is like ’30s Germany. I don’t know what happened. If you’re not part of the group, ‘You know what we believe is right,’ I go, ‘Well, I might have a problem with that.’ I’m a comedian, I like going [off] on both sides.”

Fans of Allen’s show were quick to express their contempt over the cancellation of “Last Man Standing,” and likewise, they were ecstatic when FOX announced that it was bringing the hilarious sitcom back to television. Now, a promo for season seven of “Last Man Standing” has been released, which allowed Allen the opportunity to hit back at the liberals who canceled his show in the first place.

In the promo, Baxter’s son asks, “Why would they cancel a popular show that everybody loves?”

“Maybe they’re a bunch of idiots!” Allen’s character replies, before turning to his wife and saying, “Am I wrong, or is it, like, way better on this network?”

Clearly, ABC’s liberal network execs are more committed to promoting the progressive agenda than they are to their bottom line, which is no way to run a business. We have already seen what happens to companies which put partisan politics before the values of their customers. Take Target, for example, which saw it’s stock plummet after instituting a transgender restroom policy.

Like Target, ABC will only suffer for putting and agenda before their profits, and their loss will be FOX’s gain. You would think that these liberal entities would learn from the past, but the left has never been accused of being particularly intelligent.
