Oh, Mildred! Holy smokes!
Get a load of this, dear Mildred: the retired cardinal appointed by Pope Francis to broker the total surrender of the United States to the Castro regime has been identified as one of the major participants in the Catholic Church’s ongoing sex-abuse scandal!
Heavens to Betsy! Heavens to Murgutroid! How can this be?
Cardinal Theodore McCarrick, who was forced to resign his post due to multiple accusations of sexual abuse of boys and young men — and who had even been condemned to a life of seclusion and penance by former pope Benedict XVI — was recalled into service by Papa Che to serve as the mastermind and linchpin of President Obama’s total capitulation to the Castro dynasty.
Oh, Mildred, as my Cuban friend Tres Fotutos might say, Santa Mierda de los perros de San Lazaro!
And, then, as if all of this were not disgusting enough, the disgraced ex-Cardinal McCarrick joined Papa Che to concelebrate Mass in Havana at the Plaza of the Revolution, at that blasphemous altar the Castro dynasty set up under the icon of mass-murderer Che Guevara!
Oh, I tell you Mildred, this sex-abuse scandal is bad news enough, and soul-destroying enough, without adding this extra tidbit of ugliness and betrayal of principles on top of it, especially for all those millions of Cubans abused by the Castro dynasty!
But.. come to think of it, Mildred… yep…after some reflection, perhaps there was no one better suited than an alleged pedophile and disgraced ex-Cardinal to handle Papa Che’s dirty work in Havana.
Yes, dear Mildred, yes… yep, yep, yep… When work needs to be done in a sewer, no one is better suited for the job than someone whose already comfortable dealing with filth.
Or, to put it in theological terms, when dealing with devils who’s better suited for the job than someone who knows them well?
Yes, Mildred, my friend Tres Fotutos — who fancies himself an expert on Christian theology — says there is no sin the devil loves more dearly than the sexual abuse of children. It delights him infinitely, even more than torture or any other form of cruelty, especially when the abuse is committed by clergy.
And, no publication is better suited to report on all this ugliness than the sybaritic, antinomian, anticlerical, ultra-leftist bible of the Cool Set, Rolling Stone Magazine:
On Sunday, Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò, a former Vatican ambassador to the United States, called for the resignation of Pope Francis in an 11-page statement published by several conservative Catholic media outlets. In the 7,000-plus word screed, Viganò claimed Pope Francis knew since 2013 that American Cardinal Theodore McCarrick “was a serial predator” and “a corrupt man” whom the Pope “covered for … to the bitter end.”
In July, Cardinal McCarrick , who was archbishop of Washington, D.C., from 2001 to 2006, was removed from public ministry after a U.S. church investigation found an allegation that McCarrick sexually abused a 16-year-old altar boy to be “credible and substantiated”. Though he maintains his innocence, McCarrick resigned from the College of Cardinals, the first cardinal to do so over sexual abuse allegations. Since then, several other accusers, including former seminary students, have come forward with their own abuse allegations against McCarrick…
Viganò’s statement claimed that he informed Pope Francis of McCarrick’s alleged abuses in June 2013, just a few months after being chosen to replace Pope Benedict XVI as the head of the Catholic Church.
“Holy Father, I don’t know if you know Cardinal McCarrick, but if you ask the Congregation for Bishops there is a dossier this thick about him,” Viganò recalled telling Pope Francis. “He corrupted generations of seminarians and priests and Pope Benedict ordered him to withdraw to a life of prayer and penance.”…
…Viganò has accused Pope Francis of lifting restrictions on McCarrick shortly after Viganò informed him of the Cardinal’s alleged abuses, allowing him to travel on missions and appointing him as a Vatican intermediary in the US-Cuba talks in 2014. Viganò claimed he reached out to several Vatican officials in the spring of 2014 to find out if the restrictions were still being enforced and received no reply.
